New art new inspiration new year and new me!

So, I had a wonderful time with Christy Tomlinson the class was amazing. I am really surprised with this mixed media technique it is so liberating and it has brought the artist in me so I will be showing you my work as a learned step by step. One of the things I like about Mixed Media is the variety of materials you can use. I started to draw again after  many years of no art in my life just music...So, here is what I have made the past week. I hope you like it!

La pase super con Christy Tomlinson la clase estuvo genial! La verdad es que esta technica de "Mixed Media" me tiene super sorprendida es tan liberante y me ha sacado la artista en mi asi que les estare enseñando mis trabajos poco a poco. Una de las cosas que me gusta de esta technica es que se pueden combinar muchos elementos osea puedes utilizar todo lo que se te antoje! Y después de tantos años sin hacer nada de arte solo música, comencé a dibujar nuevamente. Asi que aquí esta lo que he hecho esta semana espero que les guste!

Day - 247- 1+1=1 Whole New Image

For this challenge we have to take a part of one image, combine it with another, and create a whole new image. And here is my TGF Ian combine with other images he is a cute guy!

Da 239 - Celebrating the Everyday and I am a Weekly Challenge All Star!

Yes, my friends bloggers  I am a Weekly Challenge All Star! I am sooooo excited this has been a great day and it is a privilege! I love card making and I love Scrapbooking! Thank yo so much to 365 Card Blog!


So today's challenge is all about celebrating cards with everyday sorts of sentiments and themes. But you need to avoid specific occasions, including a Thank You, Missing You, Get Well, Birthdays, Holidays, etc.

So, what to make humm, I went through  my cards and found one of my favorite cards wich is perfect for this challenge.

Day 235 - Seeing Spots

The reason I am posting this challenge today and not yesterday is because I lost and Aunt. She had a brain tumor and was very ill, now she is with the Lord in heaven!
This challenge on 364 card is with polka dotted paper! And as always I used my TGF stamp I just love them!

Day 231 - Staple It Challenge

Today the challenge on 365 Cards blog is using a stapler, and you need to use it for your card! It was so much fun I can't believe that I can use a stapler and that it would look so cool! I hope you like my creation, I had lots of fun!

My first Magnolia Stamps! Mis primeros "stamps"de Magnolia!

Recently I got these stamps from my favorite store The Memory Box in PR. They are lovely and never thought I would like them so much. It proves that even when you think that you have a style you may just change your mind!!

Recientemente adquirí estos nuevos "stamps" de mi tienda favorita "Memory Box" en mi isleta del encanto PR. Son preciosos y nunca pense que me gustaran tanto. Esto tan solo prueba que justo cuando piensas que tienes un estilo o un gusto especifico llega algo que te hace cambiar de parecer!!

TGF the Brat pack Mini album story!

Ideas are everywhere and Inspiration is in your heart!  I wanted to make a story mini album with the TGF stamps that I call The Brat Pack. So, I colored them with Copic markers and made a mini album with paper that was already cut in these form. I got the paper in HP and for the rest of the project a used DCWV "Colorful Life" from Donna Estabrooks and the Dots, stripes & plaids card stock. I used Distress ink from Tim Holtz for almost all pages of the mini story album. I hope you like it and get inspired!!!

I have to say that I am in love with TGF stamps!!

I love the stamps of The Greeting Farm TGF they are absolutely lovely. And I have been so inspired by them that I whent and got some more today, can't wait for them to arrived on the mail! I will show you the first stamps that I got and how I totally felt in love with the Copic markers!

I call them The Brat Pack!

This Beautiful girl is called Anya and I downloaded her from TGF site! I used Anna Griffin "Lizzie Collection" paper and AC Card Stock and used the Sizzix hearts, Primitive die.

In these card we have Blush Babbette also from TGF! I distress the " Just because" with Tim Holtz vintage photo and I  used  DCWV card stock "the immortal love" collection.
